Third Baptist Church in Marion and the Williamson County Baptist Association are very active in Southern Baptist Disaster Relief. Watch this space for information on how you can serve through Disaster Relief.
Missions
People at Third Baptist Church have the opportunity to serve in international missions through Equipping Haiti, a Marion, IL-based non-profit organization founded by Third Baptist Church members. Equipping Haiti takes an annual mission trip to Haiti to assist in running VBS and teen Bible study at Damien Baptist Church on the outskirts of Port au Prince. The organization also works with the newly created Institution Mixte Compassion Divine provide resources which will allow Haitian children to attend the school. Equipping Haiti is currently planning its summer 2024 mission trip.
